ABOUT ME

Hi, I am an Assistant Prof. @ IIT Mandi. I have done my Ph.D. at IITB-Monash Research Academy with Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan, Prof. Parag Chaudhuri, and Prof. Mark Carman. My Ph.D. topic: "Robust multilingual OCR: from Ancient Indic Texts to Modern Indian Street Signs". I have also worked on road safety related problems as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. C.V. Jawahar at CVIT Lab, IIIT Hyderabad.

Research Interests

My research interests are primarily in Computer Vision and Applied Machine Learning. I like to work on the problems related to road safety/mobility and multilingual-OCR.
